Christmas!

We had a great time having all the kids together this year. Jessica and her family: Chris, Summer (5), and Melanie (1 yr today!), Josh and Kim (they are now expecting!), Jake and Emily, Jamie and Mike and Joanna. It was lovely. We had so much fun with the grandkids. Summer is a blast. Melanie is sweet and adorable. We did our traditional nativity scene on Christmas eve. Everyone who didn't have their own kids yet had to participate while parents got to watch.
Jamie and Mike were Mary and Joseph, Melanie the baby Jesus, Jake and Emily were the shepherds, Joanna - the wiseman/woman, and Summer was the angel. It was great. We opened one gift each on Christmas eve and saved the rest for the morning. Everyone got back to our house by 7 am so we could watch the grandkids open their presents from Santa. Then we all had breakfast and a great day. It was great fun. Lots of games were played and food was eaten. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.
